Bu­si­nesses of­fe­ring free toys to young fa­mi­lies


A lo­cal eco-friend­ly fa­mi­ly bou­tique that ope­ned its —CH­RIST­MAS doors du­ring the past year will host a gift dis­tri­bu­tion for lo­cal fa­mi­lies in need Fri­day.

Pure Pom­mette, a Vau­dreuil-Do­rion bou­tique spe­cia­li­zing in en­vi­ron­men­tal­ly friend­ly ba­by and child goods such as cloth dia­pers, er­go­no­mi­cal­ly de­si­gned ba­by car­riers, and more, has joi­ned for­ced with three other lo­cal bu­si­nesses to col­lect new and used toys.

The gifts will be do­na­ted on a first-come-first-ser­ved ba­sis bet­ween 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., on Dec. 23.

The gift gi­vea­way will take place at Pure Pom­mette, lo­ca­ted at 470, Saint-Charles Ave., in Vau­dreuil-Do­rion.

Pure Pom­mette ow­ner Jen­ni­fer Du­mou­lin said that since the holidays are about “abun­dance and re­joi­cing,” the group of mo­thers and bu­si­nesses de­ci­ded to start the col­lec­tion to of­fer a little com­fort to young fa­mi­lies who may need a hel­ping hand.

In ad­di­tion to Pure Pom­mette, lo­cal com­pa­nies that held toy col­lec­tions in­clude: Dan­de­lion & Coc­ci­nelle, Stel­la Etc. and Sté­pha­nie Beau­drySé­guin Chi­ro­prac­tor.
