Pottery profits help the community
The Medicine Hat Pottery Association uses the summer’s annual Chili Cookoff to sell chili bowls to the hungry public. Net proceeds from the chili bowl sales are then donated to a couple of local charities. This year’s recipients were the Medicine Hat Food Bank and the Salvation Army, with each charity receiving $2.036.
