Daily COVID update

Medicine Hat remained at nine active cases of COVID-19 Friday, according to the provincial government’s website.

Medicine Hat is also reporting 71 recoveries, the same as Thursday.

Surrounding Cypress County has no active reported cases of the virus, while the County of Forty Mile sits at 12 and Taber sits at three.

There were 1,497 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta as of Friday. Edmonton Zone has the most active cases at 786.
