FRI­DAY The North­lander Brought back for a lim­ited sec­ond run, this is the last chance to watch Cal­gary direc­tor Ben­jamin Ross Hay­den’s film The North­lander.

Tak­ing place in 2961, the dystopian fan­tasy fol­lows a group of hu­mans try­ing to sur­vive.

The film fea­tures an en­tirely Indige­nous main cast.

Reg­is­tra­tion be­gins at 9 a.m., and the hunt starts at 10 a.m. SATUR­DAY Taste of Ja­maica Learn about Ja­maican cul­ture the best way pos­si­ble — by task­ing au­then­tic Ja­maican food, along the lines of cur­ries and fried dumplings.

There will also be plenty of art and dance, with gospel, folk and reg­gae mu­sic. Don’t for­get to try the grapenut ice cream.
