Ja­maican-born, On­tar­i­o­raised sprinter Dono­van Bai­ley made Canada proud when he won the 1996 100-me­tre Olympic gold medal.

His time of 9.84 sec­onds set a world record.

Bai­ley was also part of the re­lay team that won gold in the 4x100-me­tre race.

In 1997 he par­tic­i­pated in a 150-me­tre race against Amer­i­can Olympian Michael John­son to crown “the fastest man alive.”

Bai­ley won the One to One Chal­lenge of Cham­pi­ons with a time of 14.99 sec­onds.
