A dress­maker’s vi­sion is sharper than a fresh pair of sewing scis­sors. They’re 80 per cent bet­ter than oth­ers at es­ti­mat­ing the dis­tance be­tween them­selves and ob­jects and guess the dis­tance be­tween ob­jects 43 per cent more ac­cu­rately, says a new study in Sci­enti ic Re­ports.
