Ci­tyfolk Fes­ti­val kicks off Wed­nes­day and runs through Sun­day on The Great Lawn at Lans­downe Park. For a full fes­ti­val sched­ule or to buy tick­ets, visit city­folk­fes­ti­val.com.

The idea, he says, is to have live, lo­cal mu­sic hap­pen­ing in dif­fer­ent and unique lo­ca­tions along Bank Street as a way of ex­tend­ing the fes­ti­val at­mos­phere through­out the Glebe.

“It’s a great com­pli­ment to Ci­tyfolk hap­pen­ing at Lans­downe,” says Mon­a­han. “The lineup fea­tures over 50 lo­cal acts and all of the per­for­mances are free. They take place on Fri­day night, Satur­day af­ter­noon and Satur­day evening.”

This year’s Mar­vest venues in­clude Irene’s Pub, Mrs. Tiggy Win­kle’s, The Papery, Farmteam Cook­house and Bar, and even Whole Foods Mar­ket.
