Toronto is con­sid­er­ing reg­u­la­tions that would al­low home­own­ers to short-term rent a sec­ondary suite, up to three rooms in their home, or their en­tire home. Toronto is con­sid­er­ing lim­it­ing those rentals to 180 days out of the year, and home­own­ers would have to prove they re­side at the home to get a li­cence.
