Road­works set for Route 20, bridges

High­way 20 east­bound head­ing down­town is best avoided this week­end, as Trans­port Que­bec will be clos­ing it to do work on the Tur­cot In­ter­change from Fri­day at 11:30 p.m. till Mon­day 5 a.m. be­tween the High­way 138 of­framp from the Mercier Bridge and the on­ramp for An­grignon Blvd. The de­tour will be via Notre-Dame St., over to An­grignon Blvd. and back to the 20.

The exit off High­way 138 from the Mercier Bridge to High­way 20 east will also be closed dur­ing the same pe­riod.

Also in the Tur­cot In­ter­change, the exit from Dé­carie Ex­press­way south­bound to­ward the Ville Marie east­bound to down­town will be closed from 11:59 p.m. Fri­day till 5 a.m. Mon­day. The de­tour is via High­way 15 south­bound to the Bon­aven­ture Ex­press­way and into down­town.

The High­way 20 east exit for the Ville Marie Ex­press­way to down­town is also closed dur­ing the same pe­riod. De­tour is via High­way 15 south­bound to the Bon­aven­ture.

The Jac­ques Cartier Bridge will be completely closed in both direc­tions from Fri­day at 11:59 p.m. to Sat­ur­day at 4 a.m. and again Sat­ur­day night at the same hours. One of two lanes will be closed south­bound Sat­ur­day and Sun­day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

On the Mercier Bridge, one of two lanes in both direc­tions will be closed Sat­ur­day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for gen­eral main­te­nance and in­spec­tion. On Sun­day, one south­bound lane will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
