MOUNTIES ASK FOR HELP IN SOLVING BANK HEISTS
The Mounties are asking for the public’s help in finding a man they believe is responsible for at least six bank robberies in small towns across southern Saskatchewan in the past year. The suspect is between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8, with a stocky build. He has worn dark-coloured balaclavas or toques, gloves, a grey hooded sweater, a tan coat, an orange hoodie with an Under Armour logo on the front and a camouflage or dark coat, the RCMP said Thursday in releasing details of six robberies and two attempted robberies that occurred between May 13, 2016 and June 13 this year. They described five different vehicles they are seeking. The police refused to name the banks or say how much money had been stolen. No one was hurt during the robberies.
