YUL EAT 2017 Fes­ti­val: A Mul­ti­cul­tural Culi­nary Ex­pe­ri­ence

Through­out the world, Mon­treal is known for its di­verse food cul­ture. A few months ago, the city was ranked the high­est of restau­rants per Capita in Canada, and it is also the host to many food fes­ti­vals through­out the year.

The YUL EAT Fes­ti­val is a week-end long event for food­ies all over the city. It will be hosted in Mon­treal’s beau­ti­ful and cul­tur­ally-rich Old Port from Septem­ber 2nd un­til Septem­ber 4th. Join the fes­ti­val to dis­cover lo­cal tal­ents, make new food dis­cov­er­ies and meet peo­ple who are just as pas­sion­ate about good food as you are.

Over 40 restau­rants with a va­ri­ety of culi­nary ex­pe­ri­ences will be at the fes­ti­val. As well as food trucks, there will be demon­stra­tions and tast­ings hosted through­out the week-end for you to dis­cover the rich­ness of Mon­treal’s gas­tron­omy.

This year’s edi­tion will also in­clude the “Par­cours Gour­mand” as well as the “Smoke­house”.With the “Par­cours Gour­mand”, all your senses will be so­licited: wine and spirit tast­ing from small pro­duc­ers, var­i­ous work­shops, dis­cus­sions and demon­stra­tions will be shown. There are 4 dif­fer­ent pack­ages for the “Par­cours Gour­mand”: The Wan­derer (45$ and 15 coupons), The Ex­plorer (65$ and 40 coupons), The Ad­ven­turer (85$ and 65 coupons) and The Ul­ti­mate Pack­age (115$ and 65 coupons to use for the en­tire fes­ti­val).Tick­ets in­clude gen­eral ad­mis­sion.

The Smoke­house in­cludes “meat grilling, fish smok­ing and veg­etable carameliz­ing” for the whole fam­ily. Dur­ing the en­tire fes­ti­val, lo­cal chefs will pre­pare dif­fer­ent dishes for a cre­ative menu each day.Adult tick­ets are 40$ and chil­dren are 20$. Tick­ets in­clude gen­eral ad­mis­sion.
