Are you a fan of burgers and good food? Then you won’t want to miss Montreal’s Burger Week coming up September 1st. #BurgerWeek is a food contest where 40 restaurants take part in a race for the best burger in town. It’s a chance for chefs to get creative and be extravagant with their combination of flavours to create the winning burger.

This year, the burger contest will take place in 6 different Canadian provinces as well as in the United States. Over 400 restaurants will take part and Montreal will represent 40 of those renowned restaurants.

Each burger will be sold 10$ during #BurgerWeek and will all be unique in taste! If you’re in a rush, the event has partnered up with the delivery service, JUST EAT, to bring you your favourite burger whenever and wherever you are in the city.

A range of the Montreal’s best restaurants will take part in #BurgerWeek, including Fabergé, Le Gras Dur Café Vasco da Game… Here is the list of all of the restaurants joining the contest this year:

Autumn in all its splendid colours has descended on Parc Jean-Drapeau, to the great delight of families, sports enthusiasts and lovers of nature and the outdoors.

The Parc has a glittering array of activities during the fall season: romantic strolls along the SaintLawrence River, hiking on Mont Boullé, bike rides on the many cycling paths and trails, picnics, a public art circuit, visits to the Stewart Museum and the Biosphere, Environment Museum, and, especially, picture-taking of the unique area with its gorgeous views of downtown Montréal and the glorious autumn colours! And, for the more courageous, there's the Fright Fest at La Ronde, where terrifying monsters, zombies and vampires take over the amusement park.

You can also enjoy a snack or drink at Terrasse 67, on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., until Monday, October 13, when it closes for the season.

Just a few steps from downtown Montréal and the South Shore, Parc Jean-Drapeau is the prime place to escape from the daily grind, because of the ever-present fauna and flora, the many streams and lagoons, the Floralies gardens, Mont Boullé and more than 25 kilometres of cycling routes and hiking paths, including Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.
