Hal­loween - Mon­treal is one of the best cities to spend your Hal­loween night and there are Hal­loween events or­gan­ised all around the city dur­ing the en­tire month of Oc­to­ber.We've cre­ated a list of our favourite places or­gan­is­ing some unique Hal­loween themed events this year. Chose any of them to at­tend to have a spooky night with your friends !

Haunted Ghost Tours

Just in time for Hal­loween and ghost sto­ries, Haunted Mon­treal is a 90 minute tour tak­ing you through Down­town Mon­treal, Griffin­town or the Moun­tain to to show you the haunted places lurk­ing around the city, and the ghosts that in­habit it.All three tours are left by “a pro­fes­sional ac­tor and sto­ry­teller” who will guide you through the haunted city and make sure to tell your the grue­somest sto­ries there are.There are reg­u­lar tours hap­pen­ing through­out Oc­to­ber up to early Novem­ber. Mon­treal Biodome

This year the Botan­i­cal Gar­dens are host­ing an ex­cit­ing Pump­kin Ball.The en­tire site will be dec­o­rated with hun­dred of pump­kins and hal­loween in­spired dec­o­ra­tions. Dur­ing the en­tire month, from Oc­to­ber 6th un­til 31st, the Biodome will be host­ing the "An­i­mal's Hal­loween".You'll be able to see how some an­i­mals can do some hal­loween in­spired tricks. The In­sec­tar­ium will be host­ing their own event, "Spi­ders Unmasked".You will learn ev­ery­thing there is to know about spi­ders.

If you're plan­ning on dress­ing up with your friends for Hal­loween, make sure to check out Mon­treal's big­gest an­nual Hal­loween party at Muz­ique Night­club. Thou­sands of stu­dents will be at­tend­ing the event dressed up for Hal­loween. There will be a pro­fes­sional pho­tog­ra­pher to cap­ture you're orig­i­nal Hal­loween out­fit and maybe you'll win best fe­male or male cos­tume of the year.The mu­sic will be a mix of the top 40, Club An­thems, Hip Hop, Mash Ups and Reg­gae­ton.To buy tick­ets click here, you must be 18 or over.The event starts at 10 p.m on the 31st of Oc­to­ber and make sure to ar­rive early enough to avoid line ups in the cold.


If you're not into par­ty­ing and dress­ing up for Hal­loween night, there's a pump­kin lantern fes­ti­val hap­pen­ing just out­side of Mon­treal. Pump­kin­ferno is an award-win­ning fes­ti­val fea­tur­ing ex­clu­sive pump­kin carv­ings for Canada’s 150th. The fes­ti­val is lo­cated in Mor­ris­burg, On­tario, about an hour and a half drive from Mon­treal.

For a day event with fam­ily and friends, check out this pump­kin give­away hosted by Jean-Louis Bourque, Courtier Im­mo­bilier and Bis­cuits & Con­fetti.They're or­gan­is­ing a famil-friendly morn­ing around the theme of Hal­loween. Drop by with your kids and your friends to choose your favourite pump­kin, en­joy some fes­tive treats, grab a Hal­loween bal­lon, and maybe get a tem­po­rary spooky tat­too. The event is hosted at Bis­cuit & Con­fetti on Sat­ur­day Oc­to­ber 21st from 10 a.m un­til 2 p.m.

Haunted Night

at the Li­brary

The Saint Lau­rent Li­brary is host­ing an evening of hor­ror this year for Hal­loween. The event is geared to­wards chil­dren, and any­body un­der 7 years old should be ac­com­pa­nied by a par­ent or an adult. The li­brary will be or­gan­ised a range of fun events for chil­dren with treats. The event will be held on Tues­day Oc­to­ber 31st from 6:00 p.m un­til 8:00 p.m. What hap­pens when the lights go out in the li­brary ?
