Dew Drops

Moose Jaw - - Front Page -

Have you ever seen dew drops on fences or flowers? Or better yet, have you heard the sound of dew dripping off of the leaves? Nature plays its own music if we will listen. Although it is late in the year, there have been a few days that have felt more like spring or early fall in my neck of the woods. This morning was like one of those days. As I drove up our lane, the dew drops on the wire fence caught my eye. Then as I parked and walked to the house, the stillness beckoned to me. As I stopped, I heard the dripping of dewdrops from the leaves of the trees. The fog was so thick; I could see only a few hundred feet in front of me. In that moment, I thought of the scripture in Deuteronomy 32:2 “Let My teaching fall on you like rain; let My speech settle like dew. Let My words fall like rain on tender grass, like gentle showers on young plants.” Dew is almost magical. It just seems to appear out of nowhere. The conditions have to be just right for it to show its loveliness. As the sun touches the dew drops, it sparkles like diamonds, bringing refreshment in little drops to the earth. In the Word of God, dew is symbolic of blessing, favor, prosperity, resurrection, and long life. There are several scriptures that refer to dew. Psalms 110:3 says “Your vigor will be renewed each day like the morning dew.” What a promise to speak over our lives! How about in Job 29:19-20 which declares: “For I am like a tree whose roots reach the water, whose branches are refreshed with the dew. New honors are constantly bestowed on me, and my strength is continually renewed.” Today, as we meditate on that verse, I pray that you, dear reader, will grasp the depth of what it is that God wants to pour out on your life. Allow His refreshing, life-giving Holy Spirit to reach into the dried up areas of your heart and bring forth a fresh, new wellspring. He promises that “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” There is hope for every one of you! The time is NOW! It is TIME for God to heal, restore, and bring to life the dead things! “Father God, You know each person who will read this story today. You know their name. You knew them before they were formed in their mother’s womb. You even know the number of hairs on their head right now! I ask that You will pour out Your Spirit in their lives, their hearts, their homes, their families and their workplaces. You know EVERY situation and You have the answer for EVERY question and concern each one has. I declare that today is a new day. I declare that today Hope is rising in their hearts! I declare that heaven comes to earth in each of their lives. Order their steps. Direct them to others who can speak life into their lives. I ask for divine appointments and connections for each of them. Show Yourself strong to those who reach out to you by faith today. Thank you Lord that You perfect EVERYTHING that concerns them. Let Your dew; Your favor, Your blessing, Your supply, Your LIFE come to them now. In Jesus precious name, AMEN.” Have a blessed week, dear readers! God is working in your life. Be encouraged. Scripture reference: John 7:38
