While pon­der­ing out loud one day about the kind of recipes that might be of in­ter­est at this time of year, a reader put forth the idea of recipes us­ing fresh fruit to make wine and liqueurs. A search through a cup­board of recipes and some stops on favourite recipe spots on the in­ter­net pro­vided this week’s recipes. With my al­lergy to al­co­hol, I am un­able to sam­ple any of the fin­ished prod­uct but I hope read­ers will find one that ap­peals to them. •••
