Royal LePage donates $3,000 to “I Bought a Lunch Campaign.”

Moose Jaw - - News -

Realtor Wally Meili (center) of Royal LePage presents a cheque for $3,000 to Hunger in Moose Jaw’s “I Bought a Lunch” campaign. The campaign aims to raise $50,000 in 50 days from October 20 to December 8. The funds will go to supporting the Child Nutrition Program to continue providing lunches every day to children in the city in various elementary schools. Hunger in Moose Jaw says they provide over 65,000 lunches per school year. Meili says child nutrition is important and Royal LePage saw it fit to contribute to this initiative. “We work in the community and we like to support different initiatives; we felt this campaign by Hunger in Moose Jaw is a good one. It’s very important that kids have good nutrition at school and they are filling this need so this was fitting for us and a worthwhile way to support the community,” said Meili. Hunger in Moose Jaw thanked Royal LePage for their generous donation. Norma Willows (left) and Sarah Sept (right) accept the cheque.
