$11,200 raised for Moose Jaw Humane Society

Moose Jaw Times Herald - - OPINION - JOSHUA SANTOS

The humane society was approached by the Moose Jaw Co-Op to see if they met the criteria for the initiative.

“They do a lot of good work within the community and it’s something that we value and want to help,” said Kristoff.

McEwen thanked the community for coming out and joining the campaign.

“We had some many people come out and tell us all these wonderful stories about the animals, ones they adopted from us or just their own pets at home. It was wonderful to spend the day listening to their stories and how thankful they are for the humane society,” she said.

The Moose Jaw Humane Society will host another fundraiser - their 12-hour radio-thon - on Nov. 3. The Moose Jaw Co-Op contributed $525,000 local organizations and causes since 2010, according to a news release.
