Great Suggestion

I’m writing with regard to the My Hometown article “Life in Moosonee” (April-may 2017). I am very interested in our First Nations neighbours and as I read the story, I wondered if this could be a regular part of your magazine. Our Canada has regular departments that include stories on ancestors, tracing roots, travelling and recipes—all aspects that could help us learn about this fascinating culture that live alongside us. First Nations could be a new category. The media covers so much of their tragic stories, why not showcase other aspects of this fascinating culture? I believe this should be captured in a magazine called Our Canada. Cindy Humpartzian, Victoria
