JULIA SHEARS

Julia currently lives in Thunder Bay but was born and raised in Rocky Harbour, N.L., a place and a time she tells us all about in her My Hometown story on page 38. She is a mother to three adult children and a grandmother to three grandsons. Always a storyteller, Julia enjoys sharing her life experiences. She recently completed a writing course and is now working on a collection of short stories. Her travel bucket list includes a trip to New York City to see the play Come Fromaway.
