Barbara grew up in Banff, Alta., and spends her free time racing up and down the Rocky Mountains to keep up with an active family of outdoor enthusiasts. Her passions include writing, photography, exploring landscapes and spending time with her grandchildren. She is working on her first young adult novel, No Reception.
