FIRST OFFICIAL PHOTOS OF THE 2018 WRANGLER UNVEILED
Jeep has officially announced the next-generation Wrangler, set to make its official debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show next month. Jeep kept details on engine and transmission specifications to itself, but here’s what we do know. The new Wrangler will have more safety features and advanced, fuel- efficient powertrains. Aerodynamics will be improved and there will be “a convenient fold- down windshield for off- road purists, more openair freedom, and dozens of different door, top and windshield combinations.” In terms of powertrains, here’s what has been rumoured: a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, a 3.6-L Pentastar V6, and down the road, a 3.0-L turbodiesel V6. Beyond that, there is no official word on available transmissions.
