GADOT NOT RETURNING IF RATNER IS INVOLVED

- Evan Manning, National Post

It turns out that Gal Gadot isn’t just Wonder Woman in the movies. She’s also a superhero in real life, one who will stand up against the recent slew of sexual misconduct in Hollywood. Over the weekend, the star of the DC Universe’s Wonder Woman announced that she will not return to the second instalment in the franchise if the recently accused producer Brett Ratner is still involved, the New York Post reports. A source for Gadot, pictured, told Page Six that she doesn’t want Ratner profiting off of a film that is supposed to empower women. Wonder Women, which was directed by Patty Jenkins (who is also currently signed on for the sequel), is the highest-grossing live-action film ever directed by a woman, as it made more than $800 million worldwide.
