Discomforting comments

Re: Liberal accuses Tory MP of ‘ humiliating’ sexual comments, Dec. 5

It was discomforting to read the account of Sherry Romanado’s comments in the House of Commons. Rather than occupying a seat in Canada’s Parliament, I believe that she would be more comfortable in a “safe space” provided by today’s university culture.

Unless there is more to the story than was presented in your paper, an apology by James Bezan should have ended all discussion of the event.
