FIRTH’S WIFE REVEALS SHE HAD AFFAIR WITH ALLEGED STALKER

In what could be the plot of a film starring Colin Firth, the actor’s wife Livia Giuggioli has revealed she had an affair with the man she now claims is stalking her. Giuggioli, an Italian film producer, accused journalist Marco Brancaccia of harassing her with a “frightening campaign” of messages, prompting an Italian police investigation. Brancaccia denied the accusations in an interview with The Times this week, saying Giuggioli had made them up in an effort to conceal the affair. He claimed “My ‘stalking’ consisted of two messages via WhatsApp after she ended our relationship in June 2016, and an email.” Now, Giuggioli and Firth, pictured, have confirmed she did have an affair with the journalist, but that he began to harass her after they split.
