Coroner calls out Montreal marathon

Patrick Neely died after collapsing at last year’s Montreal marathon. Now a Quebec coroner has issues with the event’s communication and organization, noting a lack of volunteers along the route, that it took nearly 10 minutes for paramedics to arrive and that the 24-year-old was taken to a hospital not

equipped to deal with cardiac arrest patients.
