EQUESTRIAN BODY SUSPENDS U.A.E., AGAIN

-

The Fédération Equestre Internationale has suspended the United Arab Emirates through March 31, 2021 for holding two national endurance events, the Sheikh Mohammed Cup and The President's Cup, that far exceeded the quota of foreign riders permitted. The U.A.E. must also pay a percentage of the prize money as well as a percentage of dues that would have gone to the FEI had the events been staged as international competitions. In 2015 the U.A.E. was suspended over horse welfare issues.
