BORIS JOHNSON BUYS BEAVERS FOR DAD'S 80TH

Boris Johnson and his siblings procured beavers for his father's 80th birthday. He was said to be looking forward to having the beavers enliven the small river running through his Exmoor estate. The land was converted into a good habitat for the creatures and licences obtained. Beavers were hunted to extinction in England 400 years ago, and only returned five years ago when guerrilla rewilders released a family on a river.
