Search con­tin­ues for Markham man

A North Bay On­tario Pro­vin­cial Po­lice of­fi­cer searched an area road Tues­day af­ter­noon fol­low­ing up a tip in a miss­ing per­son’s case. OPP Const. Shona Cami­rand didn’t spec­ify which road po­lice searched in the case of Eu­gene Kim of Markham. SY Kim, Eu­gene’s brother, told The Nugget fam­ily mem­bers also are search­ing. “We’re still search­ing on our own. De­tec­tives seem like they’re not find­ing much,” she said. In­ves­ti­ga­tors with the York Re­gional Po­lice #2 District Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tions Bu­reau con­tinue to seek the pub­lic’s help in lo­cat­ing Kim. Kim was last seen at about 7 a.m. Oct. 2 at the fam­ily’s home in Markham. His cell­phone was used in the North Bay area at about 4:30 p.m. that day. Kim is de­scribed as Korean, 38 , 5’9, 185 lbs, with black hair. His ve­hi­cle is de­scribed as a black 2010 Nis­san Rogue with li­cence plate BJJD 108.
