DIN­NER: The men’s group at St. John the Divine Angli­can Church, 301 Main St. E. hosts an all-you-can-eat ham and scal­loped potato din­ner from 5-7 p.m. En­joy ham, scal­loped pota­toes, coleslaw, dessert and a drink. Adults $12, stu­dents $9, chil­dren ages six to 12 $5, and chil­dren un­der six eat free. Gluten-free op­tion avail­able.

DIN­NER: Chalmers United Church, South River holds its chicken ‘n’ ribs din­ner at the church from 6-7 p.m. Ev­ery­one wel­come.

DIN­NER: The ladies aux­il­iary to Le­gion Branch 23 serves cab­bage rolls with mashed or fries, veg­gie and tea or cof­fee for $9.50from 4:30-7 p.m. Meat draw at 5 p.m. Mur­phy’s Law en­ter­tains from 7-11 p.m. Catch the Ace tick­ets on sale from 3:30-6:30 p.m. with the draw at 7 p.m.

TGIF DIN­NER: West Fer­ris Le­gion serves Oc­to­ber­fest sausage with sauer­kraut (optional), Ger­man potato salad, Ger­man green beans, salad, pumper­nickel bread, dessert, cof­fee and tea for $12.

BRUNCH: The West Fer­ris com­mu­nity brunch takes place from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Angli­can Church, 301 Main St. E. Bring your friends for free pan­cakes and sausages with all the trim­mings.

DARTS: Cor­beil Four Sea­sons Club hosts Satur­day fun darts with regis­tra­tion at noon. Game starts at 1 p.m. Cost is only $2.

DANCE: Cor­beil Four Sea­sons Club hosts a ‘50s and ‘60s dance. Tick­ets are $10 and avail­able by call­ing Claire at 705-495-9477. Doors open at 7 p.m. Hot dogs, French fries and milk­shake floats avail­able. Live en­ter­tain­ment by J.R. Au­bertin. Dress up in your best out­fit and come and have some fun.

ROCK­TO­BER­FEST: The North Bay Real Es­tate Board, in sup­port of the North Bay Food Bank, hosts live en­ter­tain­ment fea­tur­ing Mur­der Mur­der, Main Street Echo, Peter Cliche Band, David Dino White, Ben Her­mann, Rose-Erin Stokes, Grooove, Cole Fournier and more on Main Street between Fraser and Fer­gu­son from 2-10 p.m.

Ad­mis­sion is a non­per­ish­able food do­na­tion.

FUNDRAIS­ING CON­CERT: Oc­to­ber is breast cancer aware­ness month and sev­eral per­form­ers have com­bined to pro­duce a ter­rific show at Trin­ity United Church in sup­port of breast cancer re­search. The lineup in­cludes The Brian Risk Band, Jen­nifer Plum­mer, Erik James Fau­con, Wid­di­field Per­form­ing Arts the Wild­cats will be shar­ing their vo­cal troupe to sup­port this show, and Rod Car­ley. 7:30 p.m. Tick­ets avail­able at the door $10 min­i­mum do­na­tion ($20 or more in­cludes a tax re­ceipt)
