Voter goes Green for wrong reasons

North Bay Nugget - - OPINION -

to the editor: i was really scratching my head when the content of the provincial Pc ad airing on tV said “Kathleen Wynne will say anything get elected. We can never trust them (i.e. the corrupt Liberal party) again.”

this is very true, but don’t all politicians say anything to get elected or re-elected?

the Pcs seem to forget the Mike harris dictatorship, which had slash-and-burn policies.

that party, in my opinion, literally raped health care and ruined education.

Our hospitals are in a constant bed crisis and many children are falling through the cracks because of decisions harris and the Pcs made. Ontario has not recuperated from those thoughtless decisions.

Now, Wynne will not get my vote because of her decision to put booze in grocery stores and sex education reforms. Would teaching courses like Manners 101 and self-defence be a better investment into children’s future?

also, Pc Leader Patrick brown refuses to admit he was incorrect when he stated that Wynne was on trial at the Sudbury bribery case when she was only a witness at the trial. does brown know something that no one else knows?

i think that i will vote for the green Party, as that party seems to have a slim chance of winning an election.

however, one never can be sure, right? Jim Campbell Sudbury
