the third age Nipissing lifelong learning group is offering the lecture medicinal advantages of cannabis… how can it help seniors? on oct. 10 the third age Nipissing lifelong learning group was started by a committee of several interested volunteers in the fall of 2017. their plan is to develop and offer programs that will allow the participants to listen to, and to engage in discussions with speakers who are well-informed on subjects of interest.
Research has shown that people who continue to learn new things well into their retirement are healthier and happier than those who don’t. third age learners receive significant rewards from being involved - including increased social interaction, the promotion of healthy brain functioning and intellectual stimulation. the oct. 10 lecture will be followed by Recreational cannabis … what do we need to know? on oct. 17 and cannabis & the law ...what’s legal, and what’s not? on oct. 24. all three lectures will be held at holiday inn express & Suites (1325 Seymour St.) and will run from 1:30 to approximately 3 pm. tickets ($15 per lecture, $30 for all three) are available by advance sale at hilltop Variety on Jane Street West, Royal lepage North bay Real estate on chippewa St. West, and the North bay museum. detailed information about all three lectures can be found on the website: https://thirdagenipissing. com . contact: Susan priebe (705 476 5717) email@example.com
