Con­cert: Lau­ren­tian Ski Hill trades skis and snow­boards for gui­tars, drums and vo­cals for Mu­sic on the Slopes fundraiser. Opens at 3 p.m. with mu­sic for kids, fol­lowed by Paul Pruneau and the Jour­ney­men, M.L.C., and the Brian Risk Band. The event runs un­til 9 p.m. and in­cludes a fully li­censed beer tent area with bar­be­cue by the Lau­ren­tian Cafe. Bring your lawn chair or blan­ket. Tick­ets $10 per per­son are avail­able at Gate­way Signs, U-need-a-cab, Lau­ren­tian Ski Hill, North Bay-mat­tawa Con­ser­va­tion Au­thor­ity or payable at the hill upon en­trance to the con­cert.
