Now the space at 794 Dun­das St. W. has been jazzed up, and Wong’s spin­ning out new fare like jerk chicken chow mein and jelly co­conut and rum for sip­pin’. Queen West is now home to

SOUFI’S, an au­then­tic resto-slash­cafe found at 676 Queen St. W. The Syr­ian eatery — they call them­selves the first of their kind — dishes out man­aeesh and knaf­feh. The for­mer is a flat­bread; the lat­ter a dessert made with akawi cheese and soaked in orange blos­som syrup with pis­ta­chios.

You likely al­ready know his name from Mar­ben and Carver, but with his up­com­ing still-un­named Span­ish food hall, ROB BRAGAGNOLO is set to be­come a house­hold moniker. This well-heeled chef did a stage this past Fe­bru­ary at Barcelona’s Tick­ets, Fer­ran and Al­bert Adrià’s hot-to-trot resto that is one of the world’s bests. No big deal. Fans of Ja­panese desserts are all goo­gly-eyed over the lat­est ad­di­tion to the scene: PABLO CHEESE

TART. The flag­ship shop has just opened at 114 Dun­das St. W. and is dish­ing out its freshly baked, ohso-creamy cheese tarts. Try the clas­sic flavour with a roof of glazed apri­cot jam or fancier takes like matcha spiked with azuki red bean paste and mochi. Into al fresco din­ing? South­ern Ital­ian spot TUTTO PRONTO, found at 1718 Av­enue Rd., is now the proud owner of a gor­geous new rooftop pa­tio that may very well be the best up­town. You heard it here first.

A match made in heaven. Hear ye, hear ye! ALOETTE shall soon be sit­ting at 163 Spad­ina Ave. right be­neath ALO, the high priest­ess of Toronto’s din­ing scene.
