GREAT DRINKS & EATS ON GEARY

FAMIGLIA BALDASSARRE

This joint is no longer a secret to the pasta-loving hordes of the Junction (and the rest of the city). Although most of the time this pasta kitchen produces fresh linguine, canestri and tortelloni for local restos, from 12 to 2 p.m. it turns into a micro lunch counter with a limited menu of some of the best pasta dishes in the city. 122 Geary Ave.

NORTH OF BROOKLYN

Located inside the Greater Good bar, this pizzeria has a great rep because of its cheese-laden, pepperoni-studded pies. The piemakers deliver high-quality, thin-crust Neapolitan pizza at top speed. The pizza is (not surprisingly) a great complement the to craft brews at the bar. 229 Geary Ave.

BLOOD BROTHERS

The beers at Blood Brothers stand out for their originality and execution. The sour options are fantastic: neither too sweet nor too tart. Brews, such as the Paradise Lost yuzu gose made with Maldon sea salt and yuzu juice, retain their crisp, satisfying flavour until the end. 165 Geary Ave.
