A 20-year-old male suspect
has been charged with two counts each of attempted murder, pointing a firearm, reckless discharge of a firearm and possession of a firearm, following a shooting in Yorkdale Shopping Centre that occurred on Aug. 30. The suspect was found and arrested without incident on Sept. 3. It is alleged that at the time of the shooting, two groups of males had an altercation, which resulted in two shots fired. No one was injured. Until his arrest, the suspect was considered armed and dangerous. He appeared in court on Sept. 4.
