Sum­mit Karate is cel­e­brat­ing an­other year of round­house kicks. Now turn­ing 25, this karate dojo is cel­e­brat­ing with sev­eral events through­out the year, in­clud­ing stu­dent show­cases and spe­cial talks by ex­perts on men­tal health and phys­i­cal em­pow­er­ment (3090 Bathurst St., 416-783-3877).

Mo­saic Hair Group turns 20 this fall.The sa­lon, which used to have a sec­ond lo­ca­tion in For­est Hill, is in­volved with lo­cal char­i­ties, in­clud­ing the MS So­ci­ety of Canada, Ernes­tine’s Women’s Shel­ters and Run for the Cure, and is part of the en­vi­ron­men­tally pro­gres­sive Green Cir­cle Sa­lons (1848 Av­enue Rd., 416787-8899).
