HOR­TI­CUL­TURE: The Kirk­land Lake & District Hor­ti­cul­tural So­ci­ety will hold its next meet­ing on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 10 at the Royal Cana­dian Le­gion at 7 pm. Mem­bers' dis­plays cre­ated after the Septem­ber meet­ing “mys­tery” will be ex­hib­ited, and we will also dis­cuss the Novem­ber meet­ing con­test called “How we see the world around us through photos and art­work.”

LUNCH: RTO will be host­ing its monthly lunch at Crabby Patty's. All re­tired teach­ers and their fam­i­lies are wel­come to at­tend.
