Last Thursday evening the school of Sacred Heart AllGrade had an appreciation supper for the town of Conche.

The school officially closed as of Friday, June 24. The school felt they needed to show their gratitude to the continuous support the school had received from the community throughout the years.

All members of the town were invited and served hot turkey and roast beef supper, with blueberry and apple pie for dessert.

A slideshow of students and school activities past and present was played during supper for everyone.

After supper the floor was opened to anyone with something to say about their time in Sacred Heart All-Grade.

Some of these people included principal Lori Mor- ris, Kingergaten to Grade 6 teacher Jessica Bromley, school council chairperson Paula Talbot, principal of Roddickton Hollis Cull, Mayor Doris Carroll and previous teacher Mary Foley.

During this time people reminisced on fond memories, shared funny stories of their time in the school and cried tears of sorrow as this marked the ending of an Era.
