Tree farm fam­ily to do­nate pro­ceeds

WEST NORTHUM­BER­LAND — The Spry Christ­mas Tree Farm is do­nat­ing 100% of all the pro­ceeds from its Fam­ily Christ­mas Day event to the Northum­ber­land Hills Foun­da­tion Light Up A Life Cam­paign to re­place elec­tronic pa­tient med­i­ca­tion dis­pens­ing ma­chines.

The day in­cludes choos­ing and cut­ting (or hav­ing some­one else cut) your Christ­mas tree (any size), plus a hot lunch and hot choco­late for the fam­ily, treats, mu­sic and a sou­venir fam­ily photo, says Foun­da­tion ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor Rhonda Cun­ning­ham.

The event takes place Dec. 9, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The tree farm and ac­tiv­i­ties are lo­cated at 8329 Dan­forth Rd. Cobourg.

The Foun­da­tion kicked off its let­ter cam­paign for Light Up A Life last Wed­nes­day, and in­cluded is ap­pre­ci­a­tion for the up­com­ing Spry Fam­ily Christ­mas event dur­ing that event.
