Pana­sonic Shows Its Lat­est 4K and OLED TVs at CES 2014

Pana­sonic stopped plasma TV pro­duc­tion at the end of 2013 and now the com­pany is in­vest­ing into 4K and OLED tech­nolo­gies, as its CES 2014 dis­play showed. The Life+Screen AX800 se­ries will be the com­pany’s new 4K Ul­tra LED HD TV and prom­ises ex­cep­tion­ally high pic­ture qual­ity along with next gen­er­a­tion smart TV func­tions. The AX800 se­ries will come in 58-inch and 65-inch screen sizes and fea­ture HDMI 2.0 sup­port. Pana­sonic also demon­strated 4K OLED Pan­els at CES 2014, al­though the com­pany has not yet re­leased any con­sumer pro­duc­tion mod­els - we ex­pect to hear more on this later this year. www.pana­sonic.ca
