The IPT In­stal­la­tion And Support Process


As I am sure you can ap­pre­ci­ate, the in­stal­la­tion process is pretty in­volved and goes through the fol­low­ing steps: • The home­owner’s ar­chi­tect and lo­cal IMAX dis­tri­bu­tion / support rep­re­sen­ta­tive (typ­i­cally a lo­cal tech­nol­ogy / home the­atre con­sul­tant) meet with the Mis­sis­sauga-based IMAX de­sign team to de­ter­mine the room di­men­sions and char­ac­ter­is­tics based on the de­sired num­ber of seats and the owner’s house lay­out. • Then a cus­tom de­sign is cre­ated by the IMAX team, in­clud­ing the IMAX pro­pri-
