Duke’s Re­fresher Bar

A rowdy in­ner-city spinoff of a Muskoka party bar, Duke’s boasts 40 draught beers. Roughly a third of the op­tions are pedes­trian, but there’s some solid lo­cal rep­re­sen­ta­tion plus five ro­tat­ing guest taps. And se­ri­ously, where else are you go­ing to drink at Yonge and Ger­rard?

Mill Street needs no in­tro­duc­tion. Visit for flag­ship brews like the Or­ganic Lager and Tankhouse Ale or more re­cent re­leases like 100th Merid­ian am­ber lager and Birra Sophia Pil­sner and kick it on one of two gi­ant pa­tios. Mill Street pays homage to the ’hood’s her­itage, dis­till­ing bier schnapps in the Beer Hall’s mi­cro-dis­tillery.
