Rat­ing: Griev­ing the death of her son – a sol­dier killed by a Pales­tinian sniper at a check­point – Robi Damelin em­barks on a mis­sion to achieve rec­on­cil­i­a­tion with his killer. But the per­pe­tra­tor is re­sist­ing. And he’s not the only one – Damelin’s other son thinks she’s out of her mind.

The direc­tors wind up ex­plor­ing the Truth and Rec­on­cil­i­a­tion Com­mis­sion in South Africa, Damelin’s coun­try of ori­gin, where she talks to peo­ple whose lives were trans­formed by the air­ing of tes­ti­mony from per­pe­tra­tors and vic­tims of the apartheid regime.
