Susan Swan’s cheesy culture defence
Susan Swan writes about “insist[ing] on our right to determine what we read and watch” in the NAFTA talks (NOW, October 26-November 1). What she really means is enlisting the aid of Big Brother to determine what we read and watch. This parallels the dairy lobby’s pounding the drum for the Canadian birthright to overpriced milk and cheese.
