Re Don’t Call It Brain Drain: Why One Local Comedian Is Following the Mass Exodus Out Of Canada by Andrew Johnston (NOW, October 26-November 1). Wow, was this article written in 1994?!

Comedians today have the best platform that can reach billions of people, no matter if they live in Canada, the U.S. or Afghanistan: the internet. You don’t need to spend “a small fortune” for a Green Card to start a YouTube show here in Canada, dude. I can’t think of a better platform to gain exposure. Not just YouTube, but podcasting and blogs, too.

There are so many ways to start a career. Ninetynine per cent of the time fortunes don’t improve at all when you move to the U.S.
