1 BICYCLE MUSIC FEST ROLLS INTO HUMBER BAY
The Tune Your Ride Collective and Cycle Toronto present the ninth annual Toronto Bicycle Music Festival at Humber Bay Park on Sunday (September 9). A waterfront trail ride from the Bentway’s Strachan Gate to Humber Bay Park with mobile DJ Denise Benson kicks off the event at noon and the concert in the park goes from 2 to 6 pm. In the first six months of 2018, at least 78 women were killed in acts of violence in Canada. On Sunday (September 9), a panel at the Royal Ontario Museum featuring gender equality activists Farrah Khan, Rachel Giese and others explores how to keep the momentum of #MeToo and #ItsNeverOkay going.
