To Be The Floral Emblem

Ontario Gardener Magazine - - LOCAL DIRT -

This commemorative, 60-page booklet, was prepared by Manitoba author, Joseph J Gajdosik, in celebration of Canada's 150th Anniversary this year. The Canadian floral tour begins with British Columbia's Pacific Dogwood, moving eastward and northward to include the northern territories and ending with the province of Prince Edward Island. Gajdosik poetically expresses the floral personalities of Canada's thirteen floral emblems. Flowers are shown in detail and growing in their natural environment. Indigenous people are recognized throughout, in the poems and in the brief narration of each region's historical moments. To purchase your copy contact the author directly by phone or email at 204.261.9235 or joseph3@shaw.ca.
