The fa­mous com­edy hor­ror mu­si­cal by Richard O’brien has found its way to the Na­tion’s Cap­i­tal and has been rock­ing the roof off of the May­fair Theatre Or­léans says pro­gram­mer, Lee De­marbe.

"The screen­ings in Or­léans have been amaz­ing," he said. "(They’ve been) re­ally well at­tended and the crowds are blow­ing the roof off the house. It’s amaz­ing!"

On May 11th the May­fair will be show­ing the cult hit mu­si­cal for the third time. So far, De­marbe says the crowds have been very rowdy and is call­ing it a must-see. "Most cer­tainly the coolest thing hap­pen­ing in Or­léans," he said.

The May­fair on Bank St. holds the third high­est gross­ing Rocky Hor­ror Picture Show in North Amer­ica. Big fans will be able to see the in­no­cent cou­ple Brad and Janet mis­tak­enly end up at the cas­tle of Dr. Frank-n-furter live with an all-star cast over a 4 day, 5 show run June 14-17 at the Irv­ing Green­berg Theatre Cen­tre Main­stage, 1233 Welling­ton Street West (at Hol­land). The au­di­ence-in­ter­ac­tive pro­duc­tion in­volves sing-along num­bers, favourite dance se­quences like the ‘Time Warp,’ and am­ple op­por­tu­ni­ties for au­di­ence mem­bers to shout out planned and un­planned re­sponses to what’s hap­pen­ing on stage.
