Another delay for Presto

"The silver lining is that we’re getting a much better tax deal,"said a still hopeful Blais. "I’m a big supporter of having a smart card. And presto is the card that council has chosen so we need to get on with using it."
If the system is not functional by June 1, 2013, both parties reserve the right to consider other options for the program, and in particular, to abandon the deployment of Presto cards in Ottawa, Metrolinx indicated.
"99 per cent of the cards currently operate,"said Bruce McCuiag, president of Metrolinx.
