Ot­tawa man ar­rested for break-in at CHEO Dream Home

The Ot­tawa Po­lice Ser­vice Break & En­ter Unit has ar­rested and charged an Ot­tawa man in re­la­tion to a break-in at the CHEO Dream Home lo­cated at 532 Bridge­port. On Mon­day, Sept. 16, it was dis­cov­ered that some­one had bro­ken into the locked back­yard of the home. Nu­mer­ous pieces of fur­ni­ture and ac­ces­sories, in­clud­ing a BBQ, to the sum of $6,000 were taken. As a re­sult of the in­ves­ti­ga­tion, Robert Arm­strong, 44-years-old, of Ot­tawa, was ar­rested and charged with two counts of Break & En­ter. He has been re­manded into cus­tody. The po­lice in­ves­ti­ga­tion is on­go­ing in or­der to ap­pre­hend a sec­ond sus­pect. He is de­scribed as a white male, 35-50 years old, medium height/weight, mus­tache and pos­si­bly a beard, wear­ing black pants, white run­ning shoes, green/black check­ered jacket and a green base­ball cap.
